Important Notice: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS End of Life and Support Changes

Dear Valued Customer,
As of May 31, 2025, Canonical’s Ubuntu 20.04 LTS has reached End of Life (EOL), and will no longer receive security patches or maintenance updates.
To ensure the security and stability of your systems, Teraswitch strongly recommends upgrading to the latest Long Term Support (LTS) release of Ubuntu, currently Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.
Teraswitch will continue to allow the installation of Ubuntu 20.04 as long as it remains compatible with our supported hardware platforms. However, beginning January 1, 2026, we will no longer provide support for issues related to Ubuntu 20.04 provisioning or operation.
Additionally, some legacy systems may still reference Teraswitch-hosted Ubuntu repository mirrors in /etc/apt/sources.list. These references (e.g., pointing to teraswitch.com) should be updated to use the official Canonical mirrors prior to January 1, 2026 to avoid potential disruptions.
As part of our commitment to providing the highest level of service with modern, secure infrastructure, we periodically phase out support for legacy systems and configurations. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
If you have questions or would like assistance with planning your migration, please don’t hesitate to contact our support team. Your feedback is always welcome as we strive to better serve you.
Sincerely,
The Teraswitch Team
